Ildiko Tabori PhD, is an American psychologist practicing in Los Angeles, California. She is best known as the Psychologist-in-Residence〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://articles.latimes.com/2011/feb/09/entertainment/la-et-comedy-therapy-20110209 )〕 at the Laugh Factory comedy club in Hollywood, California. Tabori is the daughter of Hungarian Olympian and 4 minute miler, Laszlo Tabori, and Kata Preszburger Tabori. == Biography == Tabori received a bachelor's degree in Communications from CSUN, graduating Magna Cum Laude, in 1993 and received a PhD in Clinical Psychology from CSPP in 2003. She was licensed by the California Board of Psychology as a Clinical Psychologist in 2004. Tabori previously worked in the criminal justice field in California’s jail and parole system providing treatment to criminal offenders. Tabori’s specialties include individual and couples therapy, Neuropsychology, Psychological and Neuropsychological assessment, Geriatrics, and Forensic Psychology. She has worked as an expert witness in criminal and civil cases and has acted as a Consulting Sport Neuropsychologist for Peace and Sport. Tabori specializes in treating entertainment industry workers, such as actors, directors, and writers. In 2011, Tabori accepted the position of Psychologist-in-Residence at the Laugh Factory, from owner Jamie Masada. She provides on-going treatment to the club's comedians. Tabori has been interviewed and quoted in the media, including in the aftermath of comedian Robin Williams’ death. She has been featured in the ''Los Angeles Times'', ''The Week'', ''The Guardian'', NBC, CBS, ABC, NPR, BBC, and Everyday Health, among others. Tabori maintains a private practice in Los Angeles, California and continues to provide media consultation.
